Day 2

Steve is right, today was packed full. After a great first day, I think the time change caught up with me, so I had a shaky afternoon. The trip to Sparky's, well, ask me about it when we get home. I loved seeing the Ohio SWAGGS license plate on the wall. We met a friend of Bob's who is a local radio personality that just recently came to Christ.

Reflecting on today, in the states, we go to a church or a conference and we tend to evaluate things on the externals. How is the facility? What style are they? What technology do they use? How good is their music? Who were the speakers?

The difference is that here, those things are far secondary to who God is, how big He is, and what He is doing though these people. The ministry leaders have clearly defined, well thought out goals. They are pursuing these things through God's strength. Over and over these leaders talked to us about their dependence on God to achieve these lofty goals.

In other words, the real strength of HBI is in its people, its leadership, and the fact that these folks are sold out to God, passionate about reaching their country for Christ.

I'll leave you to decide which has more Kingdom significance.
