As I write this, the team is about 2 hours from touching down in Frankfurt, Germany. By the time they get there they will have been traveling for just about 16 hours. They will have around 3 hours in Frankfurt to stretch, maybe get a shower and change clothes (always refreshing after traveling for so long.), and then head to the gate through multiple layers of security checks. There is wyfi available there, so they may get to log in and update the blog or check their emails. Then it will be time to get aboard yet another plane and spend 8 to 9 hours suffering through some really bad Indian movies, and several airplane meals with an Indian curry twist, before arriving in Chennai. All in all it will take them close to 30 hours in total from start to bedtime at HBI. So please remember to pray for them to have strength and stamina as they travel.
Especially be mindful of praying for Joe, as he is still dealing with the knee and leg issues that resulted in needing physical therapy before leaving. Being cramped up in the flying, pressurized tube can be physically taxing enough, but can be dreadful when dealing with pre-existing physical issues.
We Love you guys and can't wait to hear about the adventure that is the trip there. I have often told our teams that getting there and back is the hardest part of the trip, so Godspeed Gentlemen.
